 SALMON, SEA TROUT, BROWN and
      RAINBOW TROUT FISHING IN WALES

Aberystwyth Angling Association offers both expert and novice gamefisher
exciting sport in some of the most unspoilt and scenic countryside in Wales.

  • night fishing for double-figure sea trout, or sewin as it's known in Wales,
on 16 miles of the Rheidol and Ystwyth
  •  the chance to catch a salmon straight from the Irish Sea
  • fly fishing for native brown trout on one of our nine lakes. During the
coch-y-bonddu season the lakes can literally boil with fish!

For £20 a day you have the freedom to roam all of the rivers and lakes that
make up our fisheries. Why not fish the lakes during the day and the river at night?

For the really dedicated angler, we have two lakeside caravans on our best
trout lake, Frongoch, only 10 miles from Aberystwyth. Not only is the fishing
great, but for 4 days out of 7 it's exclusive to caravan users.

When you want a break from fishing or the family demands your presence,
then there are "Blue" rated beaches locally as well as outstanding opportunities
for walking or cycling in the hills and mountains, golf, kayaking, bird watching or just simply relaxing and enjoying the peace and solitude.

Come and visit-you won't be disappointed!
