Aberystwyth Angling Association
Aberystwyth Angling Association is a ‘not for profit’ organisation relying on, in the main, volunteer work. Our aim is to provide the best fishing possible at an affordable price, available to all on both a local and visitor basis.
The Association has two caravans situated on Frongoch providing almost exclusive fishing on a stocked lake situated in an area of stunning countryside.
The rivers Rheidol and Ystwyth provide some of the best salmon and night time sea trout fishing in Wales.
Aberystwyth Angling Association has some of the best lake fishing in Wales. The lakes are regularly stocked with brown and rainbow trout.
Aberystwyth Angling Association offers both the expert and novice game fisher exciting sport in some of the most unspoilt and scenic countryside in Wales.
Fish for native brown trout on one of our nine lakes, using fly, spinner or worm (depending on which lake). During the coch-y-bonddu season the lakes can literally boil with fish!
